Merry Christmas everybody! When I was looking for a plane in santa-colors, the only plane I found was the Red Baron... Here's a nice wallpaper of an airplane we didn't had before. It is a S-3B Viking refueling a S-3B Viking and it's a nice cockpit picture.
I added contrast, levels and a cooling filter.

It's Christmas Eve here in the U.S. and I'm heading to Pensacola, FL to be with my wife's family. It's about 7 1/2 hours driving from here, but it's always a nice trip.Today's widescreen desktop wallpaper is up-close shot of an F-16C in flight. I know the F-35 JSF is technically superior, but the F-16 has "mojo" (see Austin Powers).

Friday Video: F-16 vs F-14 Dogfight
Here's a neat video that shows F-16's vs F-14's dogfighting. You get some nice HUD footage as well. The F-14 isn't much of a dogfighter compared to the F-16 but hey, you can't be good at everything...

This shot is spectacular. I made some slight enhancements, but baseline it's a tremendous photo with a great subject and background. Maybe you're like me, but shots like this remind me why I love aviation so much.
