Oke, this is realy my last post for now. It almost looks like the poster from a science-fiction movie, but it's real. here's a formation flight of two F-117A and a B-2A.

F-14B Tomcat Section Takeoff 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper
Here are two sweet looking F-14s doing a section takeoff. These are pretty nice looking aircraft but I can tell you a few stories about some of the F-14's I used to see. Let's just say that the Navy isn't too concerned about washing their jets while out at sea. Totally different worlds (Air Force vs Navy).

Let's face it, not all photos can be salvaged with Photoshop and that's why they made filters right? Ok, well, you get the point. I worked on the original for this shot and just was not happy with the final output, but I think it looks great (if you like artistic enhancements) with a filter applied.In this photo I've enhanced the original as much as possible to correct many problems and then applied the cutout filter to it. Love it or hate it, at least it's free right?

Navy F-5N Adversary Fighters 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper
Here's a sight, two retired Swiss F-5s converted to US Navy Adversary aircraft. The Navy is going to use these F-5N's to train fleet pilots in adversary tactics.I'm kinda surprised on the plane choice but I'm sure they have their reasons. The F-5 used to pull adversary duty with USAF Aggressors but now F-16s and F-15s do it. The Navy definitely won't be simulating SU-30's with these completely outmatched F-5s.

Hard to believe but this shot of the F-14 and F-18 together is a thing of the past. The F-14 is retired and the F-18 now assumes the role.This widescreen background took a generous helping of post-processing to adjust the color and enhance the contrast.

This shot lets you fly along in the cockpit with the United States Navy Blue Angels. The Blue Angels fly F/A-18C Hornets painted in the famous blue and gold. I'd love to get a ride with these guys.The photo required adjustments in levels and contrast. I added a slight saturation and sharpening to finish it off.

Rare shot of a four-ship line abreast formation of the finest US aircraft. The aircraft and the New York city backdrop make for a spectacular wallpaper.This shot required some work. The exposure and color hue were off. After making corrections, I added some saturation and sharpened it.
F-4 Phantom 4 Ship Formation 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper
The F-4 Phantom Widescreen Desktop Background.Here's a rare photo. Not only is it a four-ship formation of Phantoms, it also shows some of the different paint schemes the aircraft has had over its life span.
Cropped it to 1680 and did minor adjustments. If you love Phantoms, you'll enjoy it.
F-15 and F-16 Aggressor Formation 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper
F-15 and F-16 Widescreen Desktop Backgrounds.Back when I was at Nellis AFB, the Aggressor squadron used to fly F-5s. I was there just as they transitioned to F-16's. When I saw this amazing shot, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Aggressors are now flying F-15s!
The shot immerses you and gives a great feeling of "being there". The color schemes on these jets are unique to USAF aircraft.
This shot took a little more work than usual. The original shot was dark and I had to really be careful about blowing out highlights. Cropped it to 1680 and did the standard adjustments. I think the end product is outstanding.

F-16C Widescreen Desktop Wallpaper.In cockpit shots are some of my favorites. I flew in an F-16B model once and this is as close as I'll get to being there again. This shot has a formation of Falcons out over the Florida coast. Do you recognize what is under the pylon on the right wing station 7? Answer below.
Standard work here. Crop to 1680, adjust the levels, contrast, saturation, color, and sharpening. I also flipped it horizontally to allow for better placement of your desktop icons (which are typically on the left).

The original shot was in good shape so I just needed to crop it to 1680, adjust the contrast, very slightly boost saturation, and sharpen.

F/A-18C 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Desktop Wallpaper.You've got to try this wallpaper on your desktop. The formation shot will make you feel like you're right over the carrier.
For this pic, I cropped, adjusted contrast, and sharpened.

F/A-22 and F-15E 1680 x 1050 Widescreen Wallpaper.Classic formation shot with an Alaskan mountain background. The F/A-22 is designed to replace the F-15 and you can see the design improvements. If I remember correctly, the F/A-22 is replacing the F-15E in Alaska.
This shot required a lot of post-processing. The original shot was washed out so I had to adjust the RGB levels. I also did a bump in contrast with a touch of saturation to make the color pop. The end result is much better than the original.
